Having read (with interest) the many other replies to this question, I can say
that I fall into the sceptical category (with a side order of "experiences").
So, I'm a neo-Darwinist / devout atheist. That's the sceptical bit covered. The
experiences were pretty boring really - as a kid I used to see the future in my
dreams, but not realise until it happened. Rather like deja vu, but lasting a
lot longer and I knew exactly what was going to happen throughout it all
(including my contributions to the dialogue). The last time that happened was at
school aged 7. Since then it's pretty much been limited to pointless predictions
that happen almost instantly, like the phone ringing or "what number is the dice
going to roll" - stuff that can be explained away as coincidence as far as I'm
concerned. The only other incident that I can only explain as a hallucination
was the "manifestation" of a "poltergeist" in my friend's dining room - the
rather slow and steady opening and closing of a cupboard door, including the
lifting of the latch, right in front of me. No-one else has ever seen or heard
anything in that house, and the only other person in the house was in the bath
at the time, so hallucination remains the best explanation.

So, there you have it. Out of interest, how many 'believers' are there elsewhere
in RPGs?

Chris
