I put it on order a week and a half ago, when I heard that it'd been released, I
was the fifth or sixth person to have done so at that shop alone(I was shocked
when the kid working the register actually knew what I was talking about, and
the company that was publishing it), and none of the orders have been filled
yet.

I had the same problem when I wanted The Extraordinary Adentures of Baron
Munchausen game, and I put that on pre-order with them, and paid for it in full,
a full two months before it came out(a week or two after as it was announced on
usenet, really).  They hadn't heard of it, so they called the distributor
(Berkely, I think), and the distributor told them that they had been solicited
for it, and the price and release date, so I paid for it.  It arrived in late
September(the rest of the world seemed to get it in mid-August).

The people in that shop are afraid of me.  I'm always asking them to order
strange things that they don't know exist.
