Well there is of course that great cry, one of the long to be
remembered moments in cinema - "I AM THE LAW"   :)
And I am sure we all know what a bastard the comic
character was at times.

I quoted Hoover  as an example of image
that hid darker dealings. His creation of the FBI
used the spirit of the law to create a body
to enforce, but he (from my limited knowlegde)
happily placed some pressure on the powers that were
to bring this about. I dont think he would
have got far in the archetype.

The three reaction posts I have seen, whilst acknowledging
potential dark sides, seem to want to make
sure that this archetype can have a Dark side.
I would be amused to see the Light Side for
some of the other posts...unless of course this
is just a dislike of "boy scout" archetypes.  :>

As a final note, these guys would feel pretty bad if
they got on the arse of a Player cabal involved
in criminal activity. Its all a matter of perspective.
