Since this _is_ UA, certain plot off-shoots could very well take
place in other parts of the world.  Just think about all of the
location-hopping in the Illuminatus boooks!  Besides, certain
kinds of characters (mostly creature) might not even notice many
of the little details you're worried about.  This shouldn't be a
problem, methinks.

The only city I know with any amount of decency is Minneapolis,
and nothing interesting ever happens here ;)  I'll write wherever
