Kinda depends on how big the chapters are, doesn't it?

Just out of interest (and I know that this isn't some sort 
of mathematical exercise where you have to reach a target), 
but roughly how many words did you imagine it coming out 
as?

I assume it's going to be set largely in the US, seeing as 
most of the people involved appear to be American (though I 
could, as usual, be wrong). I don't know about the other 
non-Americans involved, but my entire knowledge about 
America stems from TV and the very occasional book, and I 
always have this fear that I'm going to misrepresent some 
aspect of America (I'm chiefly thinking  of the minor 
issues here, like the first floor/ground floor thing). 
Anyway, I was just wondering (in a sort of zoned-out 
post-relation state) whereabouts in America it was going to 
be set. Any ideas yet?

There are as many slots open as people who want them until 
we start the
novel.  This sucker is going to be big.  :-)
