In my mind, most people who Ascend stay Ascended forever.  I'd think that
replacements have only happened a dozen times in human history.  Then
again, I haven't thought up more than the Archetypes you've seen in the books.

I don't think there has to be.  The name erase business just kind of
happened when John and I realized that neither one of us had come up with a
name for her.  In retrospect, it was perfect: After all, the idea is that
the perfect sexualized/depersonalized/dehumanized product of the porn mill
doesn't NEED a name, right?
