Yeah, I had a similar idea that I just couldn't twist into a scenario.  It
involved a group of antimagick types, fighting the good fight.  They
stumbled upon two Godwalkers who were both at 98%, and duking it out for the
top seat.  Realizing that any ascension would be A Bad Thing, they
terminated both, unaware that in so doing, one of them Ascended as The Giant
Killer.  DoH!
