As an interesting note, the main sacrificial religion currently
around, Santeria (and its various varieties and related religions) has
the component that the animal chosen for sacrifice has to eat some
ritually prepared grain (or other foodstuffs) during the ceremony. If
it doesn't, its spirit has refused to be sacrificed, and sacrificing
it isn't valid.

Quite. Crowley mainly called himself the Antichrist to get publicity
and to oppose Christianity, not Christ, similarly to Nietsche. In
actual fact, part of his "do what thou will" philosophy includes the
idea that if you're actually doing your core will - not going off of
what others have inculcated into you - you won't harm anyone who
doesn't deserve it.
