I like it.  And then you could take Christ's Ascension as having warped
the world in all the ways that Ascensions usually do, especially ones that
are either first Ascensions or ones that twist the presently held
Archetype.  Maybe push the whole concept of a sacrifice more towards the
concept of "The willing person, chosen by god," rather than "The not
necessarily willing person, chosen by others as a gift to the god."

I don't know how well supported that is by actual sacrificial practices of
the day, though.

However, if you do choose to perceive Christ as having ascended to the IC,
you have the troubling thought of whether or not he can or has been pushed
out, and what he'd be like if he were (The Aleister Crowley thing is cute,
but honestly, Aleister Crowley wasn't nearly nasty enough to be a
Renounced, Biblical Christ.  Maybe Vlad the Impaler, but with a more
global kind of world view).
