[TRNSYS-users] empty Fortran .f90 file

Jan,

The *.f90 file is really just a text file with a fancy file
extension. When your Type is compiled, the compiler turns the text file
into a *.dll file that is actually being accessed during the simulation.
Once the dll is created, as far as TRNSYS is concerned, the *.f90 file
is no longer relevant. I don't know of any way to turn a dll back into
uncompiled code. Hopefully you have a backup? Which reminds me that I
have been working with a new laptop for about a month and I have not
bothered to get an automatic backup system set up. I should probably do
that!

best,

  David
