Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the response. I am not sure how to monitor if the solar system
is supplying any energy to the tank. I tried to increase the size of the
PVT and monitor the average temperature of the tank (heating elements off).
It does not seem to have much effect as you can see.

Is this the correct way to check if the solar system is providing energy to
the tank or do you suggest a different way?
