Hello,
There is a TRNSYS type allowing to call Matlab ; you find it under Utility\Calling External Programs\Matlab
If your Matlab version does not match the one used by the type you may have to update it from the
\TRNSYS18\Exe\DLLs
directory.
See \TRNSYS18\Documentation\04-MathematicalReference.pdf, 4.11.20. Type 155: Calling External Programs: Matlab™ 4–678
for documentation.
Werner

Objet : [TRNSYS-users] Calling External Programs (MATLAB)
Dear all,
I hope you are all doing well. In a research study, we are trying to develop a mathematical model of battery system in Matlab simulation studio then to call this model to TRNSYS Simulation studio (co-simulation work).
However, we could not find any information about “hoıw these models can communicate between each other (The details of MATLAB code for communication)”. We would be very greatful if you can share your experience about this issuue and share some examples if you know.
Best regards.
