TRNSYS 17 is no longer being actively supported as version 18 has been 
out for quite a while now.  And with the latest release of the TESS 
Libraries, TRNOPT has been re-written and improved.  But you don't need 
to launch TRNOPT from the Studio.  Just browse to the TRNOPT.exe 
application and launch it normally.  It's only linked into the studio 
for convenience.
