[TRNSYS-users] Fwd: Invalid floating point operation

Manos,

An invalid floating point error is a math error like dividing by zero
or taking the log of a negative number somewhere in the code. It happens
in parametric studies sometimes when an unrealistic combination of
parameter values is being run. If such a problem occurs you can get the
project (*.tpf) or the *.dck of that particular configuration in a
parametric run and send it to your distributor so that they can find the
spot in the code so as to better handle the error. It may be that the
simulation will still generate an error and stop but it should not do so
with such an unhelpful error as an invalid floating point error.

kind regards,

  David
