[TRNSYS-users] Question about selecting boundary temperatures in TRNBUILD

Hi Amin,

the main difference is that for “Identical” the same absorbed solar radiation and longwave radiation gains are imposed on the back side of the surfaces in addition to convective heat transfere.
“Userdefined” doesn’t include any radiation gain. Only a heat transfer from the surface node defined by the “convective heat transfer coefficient” of the back sides of the surface and the given temperature is calculated.
More detailed information is given int eh Type56 manual.

Marion

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Question about selecting boundary temperatures in TRNBUILD

Hi dear users,

I would like to know, when selecting a boundary wall, how TRNBUILD (Type 56) will assume or calculate the temperature boundary condition when choosing the option "Identical" instead of selecting ''Userdefined'' ?

Thank you for helping

Regards

Amin
