[TRNSYS-users] indoor temperature is unstable

Hi Zhichen,
I think that two are the crytical point that you should check and they are:

1. Influence of the window. In your experimental room there is a window if I am not wrong. Did you check in your model if all the parameters of the window (g value, U value, shading control) are implemented correctly?

2. As I understand in your model, you set the ground temperature to 5°C, correct? Why did you implemented like this? I think that the real ground temperature under the room is pretty different and follows the behavior of the outside temperature in terms of annual oscillations and not a constant value….

Are my comments useful or did I not understand what/how you implemented everything in your model?

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] indoor temperature is unstable

Dear TRNSYS users,

I am validating my model with a experimental room (room). The room has a floor heating system and I simulated the indoor temperature in the case of floor heating turning off.

I input the collected weather data(weather1.txt) into the simulation (room.b18 & room.tpf).

I compared my simulated indoor temperature with the measured one. I found that the simulated indoor temperature is unstable when the measured temperatures fluctuate similarly for each day (indoor temperature.png). I just don't known what would contribute to this mismatch when they shared the same weather condition.

Have anyone faced this problem before? any ideas to figure out this mismatch?

I will very appreciate for any helps!

Regards,
Zhichen
