[TRNSYS-users] Warning with type 166

Habiba,

Trnsys has three levels of notifications. A "notice" is for information
only, a "warning" may be a potential problem, and a "fatal" stops the
simulation. In this case you're getting a warning so you have to
determine if it is something of concern or not. Because the controller
is not getting stuck at all there is nothing that you need to do. If the
warning were telling you that the controller was stuck (i.e. it reached
its max allowable number of state changes in a given timestep) some
significant percentage of the simulation (5 or 10% of the time, for
example) then you might want to look at why it was happening. Perhaps
the timestep is too short or perhaps the equipment is oversized for the
space it serves. Again, in your case, there is no problem at all.

kind regards,

  David
