[TRNSYS-users] Problems reusing TRNSYS 16 projects in TRNSYS 18

 Dear David
I wonder if you could manage to save 16 projects in TRNSYS 18 or not. I have the same problem as Enerstvedt. Is it related to TRNSYS 18 in 32 or 64 bits?  Since v16 is in 32 bits I am not sure whether v18 32 bits should be used or 64 bits to save 16 projects?

Mr Enerstvedt,

You should not have to rebuild everything. Could you please send me one of the Trnsys16 projects so that I can play around and see if I can get it to save in v18 properly?

Thanks in advance,

 David

 Hello,
I have upgraded from TRNSYS 16 to 18, and hope to reuse as much as possible of my old TRNSYS 16 projects. I am able to open T16 projects in T18, but when I save and try to open again in T18, I get the error "Failed to open document". I have also tried to copy everything from the old project into a new T18 project, but then I get the error "Encountered an improper argument". Is there a solution to this problem, or do I have to rebuild everything from scratch?
  Best regards, Knut Erik Enerstvedt
