[TRNSYS-users] Why type11d changes the outlet temperature?

Dear Hooman
Since the temperature is constant, definitely there is no flow into the system. Your connection to the valves are somehow wrong. Check the connections.

Dear Arian

You are referring to cavitation? I expect no pressure drop in the valve. Does it consider such things? Even if so, what it has to do with the temperature? Can you help me to resolve the problem?

Many thanks

Hooman

Dear Hooman,

Probably, a bubble has been trapped in the mixer valve which TRNSYS considers it in the simulation As you know, it is a powerful tool for the users.

Dear Arian

I wonder why while the collector outlet temperature (Mixer inlet temperature) is significantly changing, the mixer outlet temperature is fixed all the time. Do you have any idea?

Thank

Hooman

Dear Hooman,

I am really sorry that nobody has responded to you. As David says always since they don’t have enough resources they can not help you about the basics.

Best Regards,

Arian

Hello, Hooman.

It seems you are using 16 version. Not sure if it is a bug there or not.

Dear friends

In Figure 1 the outlets of two collectors (CPC 1 and CPC 2) with the same temperatures are connected to a type11d (Mixer). Although type11d is not supposed to change the temperatures, the mixer’s outlet temperature in Figure 2 is something fixed, not equal to inlet temperatures…. I wonder why.

Thanks for your help

Hooman
