[TRNSYS-users] Concentrating PV-Thermal type 50

Janeet,

Due to TRNSYS 16 being more than 10 years old, and the large number of pirated copies of the software, we no longer support version 16. There have been hundreds of upgrades, improvements, bug fixes, etc and we strongly recommend that you migrate to version 18. Should you decide to stay with version 16 then I would recommend you review the full list file and try to figure out the cause of the error by reviewing the inputs and parameters to your model and checking the solcel documentation and source code.

I am interpreting it to be that at night times energy is lost from the fluid to the surroundings. However the same is not the case of the pure thermal collectors. Please could you explain this behavior?

Which version of Trnsys are you using? If it is an older version, you can fix them by modifying the proformas yourself. The errors are in the proformas and not in the code.
