Ashmin,
The Types that are available in TRNLib are all user-donated. As such
they are in various states depending on when they were donated by their
authors. I had a look at both the Types you mentioned and while you will
need to compile the code and turn it into a DLL, both are written in
such a way that they should be compatible with Trnsys17. You'll need to
have access to a fortran compiler such as Intel's Visual Fortran in
order to create the DLLs. If you do have access to that particular
compiler then a compiler project is already set up for you in the
.\Trnsys71\Compilers\ directory. If by some chance you have access to
Trnsys18 then you could use the TypeStudio to compile the code and would
not have to have access to an external fortran compiler.
You'll also need to make proformas so that the components can be used
in the Simulation Studio. Some of the components in TRNLib have those
available but not Types206 or 214
As a side note, the equations in Type206 are simple enough that I
think you could recode it as a block of equations in your Simulation
Studio project. Type214 is more complicated and probably needs to stay a
Type.
kind regards
David
