Dear TRNSYS users,
I am trying to use Type 169 to call Python in TRNSYS 18 (64 bit). I have
Python version 3.5.4 (64-bit). I am receiving the following error message:
TRNSYS message 105: A TYPE was called in the TRNSYS input file but was
either not linked into trndll.dll or was not found in an external dll. A
dummy subroutine was called in its place. Please link the TYPE or remove it
from the input file.
Reported information: Type169 could not be located in either the trndll.dll
or in an external dll. Please relink the TRNDll.dll including this Type or
make sure that an external DLL in the \UserLib\DebugDLLs and
\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs folders contain the Type.
I have the following information which may be useful to solve the problem:
- There is a file called Type169.dll in the \UserLib\ReleaseDLLs folder,
and a file called Type169debug.dll in the \UserLib\DebugDLLs folder. That's
what the error message recommended so I don't know why it keeps appearing.
- In the Proforma of Type 169 there is no link to a "Source code". Most
Types have a "Source Code" which is in the folder \SourceCode\Types (most
Source Codes have f90 format). In this folder there is a file called
Type169.cpp. Like I said, it's not connected by default to the proforma of
Type 169, and I tried adding it in the Proforma but it didn't solve the
issue.
Could you help me please? And sorry for my English, I'm from Chile.
Best regards,
Adrian Riebel
