Dear Experts,

My goal is to get solar gain reaching each zone of my multiunit residential
building. I need to take into account shading of surrounding buildings and
self-shading.

I have prepared appropriate model in SketcUp (.idf enclosed).

It seems to me that .shm file is enough for my goal. But detailed beam
radiation calculation need also .ism file for each considered zone.

My computer is not manage to create .ism files, I have only .shm file
(enclosed).

Is there any way to get this solar gains, based only on .shm?

Simplification of building model are not solution for me. (I have simplified
it as much as possible and each change of geometry could generate whole
model error).

Kind regards,

Karol Bandurski
