If this error shows up consistently, it can also be caused by insufficient privileges on the computer. If the Studio cannot write to the project directory, you get exactly that type of error message (.dck file does not exist). 

This typically happens on university-owned machines if you are a student…

In that case the solution is to copy the project directory (or your whole “Examples” folder) to a location where you have permission to write / create files (e.g. on the desktop or some user folder).

Muhammad,

  I just had a colleague run into this same error earlier this week. We just closed down the Studio, relaunched it, and the error went away. It is a weak solution and I'd much rather understand what is going on but perhaps you can try it to see if it works for you.
