[TRNSYS-users] Explanation about battery component

Hi all,

I am trying to use the lead-acid battery component (Type47a) in TRNSYS but
I have a hard time understanding what the "Call SetNumericalDerivatie" and
"GetNumericalSolution" functions are doing when using the battery in mode 1.
Can someone perhaps explain this or direct me towards an example?
