Berkane,

Your question is difficult to answer as we don’t know how “fanction “ is defined.  Please send the full equation list.  

But I’ll take a shot at it.

ABS returns the absolute value of the argument.  So if fanction is 1, the function returns a 0.  If fanction is 0, the function returns a 1.
