[TRNSYS-users] Excel iteration vs TRNSYS iteration

So onion exchange.

 

The question remains: does TRNSYS wait on Excel calculation/interation or
"tear out" data when they are needed, even if iteration are still running?

Karol,

 As far as I am aware TRNSYS has no knowledge of that is going on in Excel.
Trnsys calls Excel, waits for Excel to return something and then proceeds on
with calling the next component. If the system of Trnsys components did not
converge then Trnsys iterates again and calls Excel again. I think that
means that it an onion type of coupling.
