[TRNSYS-users] trnsys3d for 17 and 18

if you are using the newest version of TRNSYS3d and you want to import the .idf file into TRNSYS17, you must use this template:
NewFileTemplate_Trnsys17.idf

Adnan,

  If I understand the problem the same *.idf file can be imported into Trnsys18's TRNBuild but not into Trnsys17's TRNBuild? To my knowledge, the Trnsys3d plugin should work for either Trnsys version. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about that!

  I would suggest that you send the *.idf file to your distributor and see if they can give you some assistance.
