Dear David and Dear All, unfortunately I have the same version of Matlab of
my colleagues.
I have also checked the matlab path and deleted the 32bit references in the
environment path.
Looking forward to receiving your suggestion, I send you my best regards

Luca

Luca,

I suspect that the problem may have more to do with the version of Matlab
that you are running rather than the version of Windows. The Type155.dll
has to match your version of Matlab. Is it possible that your colleagues
are using a different version of Matlab than is installed on your laptop?

Another likely possibility is that Matlab may appear twice in your
environment path. It must appear only once.

kind regards,

 David

Dear David and Dear All, one of my colleagues was able to connect TRNSYS18
with Matlab 64bit both in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
However, my laptot has Windows 10 and this seems not to work there.
Can you help me to solve this trouble?
Best regards

Luca

Dear David, many thanks for your prompt reply.
Initially, I had both Matlab32 and Matlab64 paths but then I deleted the
former.
Unfortunately, connection does not work even now.
Kind regards

Luca

Luca,

Is it possible that you have both Matlab32 and Matlab64 in your
environment path? Certainly with the older version it was important to
have Matlab appear only once in the environment path and I believe that the
same is still true.

kind regards,

 David

Dear All,

I need to interface TRNSYS with Matlab using Type155. Until now, I have
been working with TRNSYS 17 and Matlab R2013a 32 bit version without
problems.

Few days ago, I updated to TRNSYS 18 (64bit version) which as far as I know
is able to interface also with Matlab 64bit versions.
Therefore, I have tried to connect TRNSYS 18 with Matlab R2015b version but
without success.

I have modified the path in the advanced variable environment but an error
message occured in TRNSYS asking for Matlab’s win32 path.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation, kind regards

Luca Cioccolanti
