[TRNSYS-users] Tempering Valve Control Type 115 TRNSYS 18

Paul,

   I am going back through some emails that came in while I was away. 
Did you get this figured out? If not then the idea of the tempering 
valve control is that it determines the fraction of hot and cold water 
that need to be mixed together to arrive at or below a desired maximum 
temperature. In a real system this could be accomplished by a PID but 
mathematically if you know the two source temperatures (one hot, one 
cold) then you can compute the ratio required. The PID and the tempering 
valve controller are redundant. Both accomplish the same thing.
