Dear Antoine,

the complex fenestration window doesn't handle this.
The error really depends on how the window is curved.
Instead of using an area-weighted slope you could also try to subdivide the windows in several planar ones and check if the simplification is really changing results significantly.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Curved window

Dear users

Is there a recommended practice for modelling curved windows?
Especially:

  * Do the new features of Complex Fenestration Systems account for that kind of geometry?
  * Is there any published reference which I could use to get an assessment of the uncertainty resulting from a simplified approach with an area-weighted average slope?
Thanks for any advice on this matter.
Best
