There are two ways that you can do this. If you want to set the slope
and azimuth of a surface (or axis) and have it remain fixed throughout
the simulation or have the surface track the sun in a prescribed manner
then you can use Type15 as Jeff mentioned in his email.
If, however, you want to create a different tracking scheme or if your
surface's slope and azimuth follow some other pattern then you can use
Type15 to get the solar radiation on a horizontal surface and use Type9
to read a data file containing slope and azimuth. The results of Type9
and Type15 can then be passed to Type16 for processing. I saw this
technique used in a project some years ago that was looking at the
energy use of a large cruise ship, which was treated as a building whose
walls and windows changed azimuth according to the ship's direction.
