[TRNSYS-users] variable speed fan

Read the technical documentation for the model.  It explains exactly how that model calculates the power consumption from the given parameters and inputs.  In the case of the standard variable speed fan, the pressure drop is used to set the exiting air side conditions and should also be taken into account in the given power vs flow parameters.  If you change the pressure drop (added resistance for example) you'll need to re-calculate the flow vs power relationship - and may need to change the rated flow and power parameters as well.
