Dear Ieen
I know than when the difference of Th and Tl is lower than "Lower dead band" controller sends a control signal. For example, in the following picture which is a differential controller, if the difference of Th and Tl is lower than 2 , the controller will send the control signal to turn off pump. But when the difference is higher than 5 (Upper dead band dT) and also when the difference is lower than 5 , in both cases , the pump is on. So what is the Upper dead band dT ?

Hi,
can you rephrase your question. The answer is probably easier than getting the point of your higher lower than-part
