Chris,

   You can absolutely send the airflow into one airnode and return it 
from another. You're on the right track with using coupling between 
airnodes but you don't need to define anything bogus. Create a 
VENTILATION type in the airnode that contains the supply. Specify that 
temperature, relative humidity and flow rate will be inputs to Type56 
and in the Studio, pass the outputs of your conditioning device to those 
inputs. Define a coupling flow rate from the node where the supply is 
located to the node where the return is located. Back in the Studio, 
take the temperature and RH of the air of the return air node as the 
inputs to the return air side of your conditioning system.
