You could try reading section 4.13.18 Type 97: Calling CONTAM of the TRNSYS 17 Mathematical Reference which explains the process in detail.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Calling CONTAM / type 97
Dear Trnsys users,
Does anyone have experience to use CONTAM coupled to Trnsys 17 ? I try to couple CONTAM with Trnsys17 using type 97 (calling CONTAM) to calculate air flows infiltration for natural ventilation.
Can anyone help ? I have already modeled my building in Trnsys3d and Simulation Studio.
Note: CONTAM documentation does not help because they use type 98 !
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Ismail
