Anton,
In order to create a new data file you'll need to have manufacturer's
data for the machine that you want to model. Manufacturer's data usually
includes some information that shows how the machine's cooling capacity
changes as a function of the inlet conditions. Often they give values of
full-load capacity for a number of inlet water temperatures in a table.
The fraction of rated capacity is obtained by dividing the capacity at a
given set of inlet conditions by the capacity at the machine's rated
inlet conditions. The same principal is true for the design energy
input. In the case of Type107 the design energy input is the amount of
energy that is extracted from the hot water stream at the machine's
rated condition.
