Wahiba,
Components that model the internal workings of a chiller were not
available for Trnsys16 (or for Trnsys17). All of the Trnsys chiller
components of which I am aware use a performance map approach (reading
performance data from an external file) and are not first-principals
models of the changes in refrigerant state within the chiller. In fact I
am not sure that TRNSYS is an appropriate tool for modeling the internal
workings of a chiller. I would develop such a model in a tool called EES
(Engineering Equation Solver) (perhaps coupled with another tool called
REFPROP) instead as they contain the equations of state that you will
need for the various phases of your refrigerant in the chiller cycle.
If you are looking for a model of how a chiller performs within a
system instead of a model of the inner workings of the chiller then one
of the performance map chiller models that were available in Trnsys16
may work for you.
kind regards,
David
