[TRNSYS-users] Fwd: Issue in creating new component

Dr Singh,
That tutorial was written quite some time ago for Trnsys16 and I
think it may require some significant expertise with the g95 compiler in
order to compile Types for Trnsys17 successfully with it. The error you
are getting suggests that your g95 compile project cannot understand the
definition of the "getSimulationTime" function that Types typically use
to obtain the simulation time. The definition of the function is
contained in one of the *.mod files that is created when the TRNDll.dll
is compiled. However *.mod files are compiler specific; a *.mod file
compiled by one compiler cannot be accessed by a different compiler.
regards,
  David
