Manrique,
If you are modeling a tempering valve, then the control signal for
the mixing valve is actually calculated at the diverter where the flow
of liquid splits into the portion that will go to the heat source and
the portion that will be used to temper the heat source if it gets too
hot. Have a look at Type11b. You can then use a simple flow mixer (i.e.
not a controlled one) in order to remix the two liquid streams. If your
situation is different then you can always write an equation that takes
the temperature of the two streams as inputs and computes the fraction
of each that is needed in order to arrive at your desired temperature.
