[TRNSYS-users] Defined surfaces in weather data

Dear TRNSYS users,
When i import the idf. file into TRNSYS, I get surfaces defined in the weather data component.
Can i know how can TRNSYS define those number of surfaces? Are those the surfaces of the building walls orientation?
