Barto,
Type659 assess the thermal losses from the heater if there is flow
through the heater is not on (ie when the liquid is coming in hotter
than the setpoint). Type6 sets those losses to zero. Yes, a negative
energy delivered output from Type659 indicates that energy was removed
from the liquid stream. You'll notice that the energy "delivered" and
the loss term balance each other under that case.
