no you can't.
Virtual surfaces are surfaces that do not exit as a heat transfer surface in the building and they can't have a shading control.

Dear users,

I am asking if it's possible to create a shading element on a virtual window surface ? Viewing the IDF file using a text editor, I saw that there is a "Shading Control" designation, could it be useful ? I am also asking what "TRNSYS 17 - additional surface data" is used to ?
