He Mehdi,

You have to build your model on daysim to calculate light needs of your
space (use ECOTECT, Sketchup to do that, I think you have tutorial on Daysim
website).
Then export your data file in a text file and import it in trnsys with a
type9 in studio.
Be careful to use same weather data file in input for both model (Daysim and
Trnsys)

Best regards

Dear Adrien

Many thanks for your reply.

Are you perhaps aware of any possibility to link Daysim to the TRNSYS.

Your reply is highly appreciated.

Mehdi

Hi mehdi,

Trnsys is not able to deal with lighting in spaces.
You may use other softs to do that. Daysim for example.

Best regards

Dear all

I was wondering to know whether TRNSYS is able to calculate the daylight and
illuminance (LUX) levels in spaces.

If not, is there any well-known daylight calculation software that can be
linked to the TRNSYS.

Your recommendations would be highly appreciated

Kind Regards

Mehdi
