[TRNSYS-users] MULTIPLE AIRNODES IN A ZONE

Juan,
You would need to use TRNFlow or CONTAM (Type97) to calculate the
rates at which air flows from one zone to another based on the
temperature and pressure differences within your building. Type56 can,
however, calculate the effect of known air flow rates between zones.
Since implementing a TRNFlow or CONTAM airflow model is somewhat
complicated, you might start off by assuming some interzonal air flow
rates to see what the impact of those air flow rates is on the
stratification and comfort within the building. If you assume a
reasonably low air exchange rate and find that the comfort results are
not significantly different from those when you assume a high air
exchange rate then you can save yourself the time and energy of
implementing the air flow model.
Kind regards,
  David
