Dear TRNSYS users,
I perform optimizations via GenOpt, which is a optimization program for the minimization of a cost function .As you can guess, the cost function is evaluated by TRNSYS. I try to enhance optimizations in terms of speed and accuracy and therefore I need to check how long an optimization takes. The problem is that, sometimes, TRNSYS can't find the library (lib/basic/W4-lib.dat) and then GenOpt gets stuck, but its chronometer keeps on running.Consequently, I can't use it. For this reason, I would like to know whether there exists a way to make TRNSYS send me an email when a problem occurs. Thus, I would be able to know how long an optimization takes - for real.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
