Jean,
  I think it is only limited by the length of the line 
(maxFileWidth=1000). The length of an equation name is also limited 
(maxEqnNameLength=20). Both limits are adjustable by modifying the 
appropriate values in TrnsysConstants.f90 and recompiling the TRNDll.
