[TRNSYS-users] CPU-Usage while simulate

If you have a dual or multiple core processor, TRNSYS simulation may use only one of the cores. If you are concerned about simulation speed because you are trying to run multiple simulations, try jEPlus (http://www.iesd.dmu.ac.uk/~jeplus/ <http://www.iesd.dmu.ac.uk/~jeplus/> ).

Hi Sascha,

I don't know if this helps but if you start your Simulation in the command Shell (cmd) with the command "start" you can give a priority (see also "help start" in cmd). If you use High ist will speed up your simulation, but be aware that you cannot use your system until your simulation is finished.

	Dear Trnsys-Users,

i´ve seen that my CPU-Usage is just 50 % while running a simulation. Is there a possibility to let Trnsys use 100 % of CPU so that the simulation runs faster ?

Or does the CPU-Usage have no effect on the simulation speed ?

	Best regards

	Sascha Heinze
