[TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS17 and Type60

Ismael,
Which version of TRNSYS are you using? I tried dragging a Type60f out
and running a simulation without making any other changes and did not
have a problem. If you are running Trnsys17, please send me the project
that is generating the error. If you are running an earlier version,
please consider an update.

In any case, though, the error is not serious; it indicates that you
need to adjust the parameters of Type60 so that the sum of parameters
45, 47, 49, etc (all the way to the number of tank nodes that you have
specified) is equal to the value of parameter 3. Please be aware that
the default Type60f is a single node tank 1.25 m in height. The height
of the single node is 1.25 m as well. If you increase the number of
nodes, the new node heights get the same default as the first node
height (ie 1.25 m). If you add nodes, you need to adjust the node
heights so that they sum to the value of parameter 3. There are other
versions of Type60 that will automatically set the node heights equal.
Regards,
  David
