[TRNSYS-users] Comparison of varies flat plate solar thermal collectors model

Zhe,
In my experience, Type539 is the most complete, robust flat plate
solar collector model. It includes thermal capacitance effects that most
of the other collector models ignore. It has also been vetted and has
had some fixes to make its results consistent at very low flow rates. I
have compared it to measured data a number of times with good success
but often you have to deviate from the manufacturer's stated performance
values in order to get a good match.
Best,
  David
